Atmospheric hydrological modeling will be developed for the surface runoff in order to increase predictive capabilities. The ADRICOSM methodology that tries to couple land water resources to coastal areas management will be used to study the impact of IPCC climate scenarios for the next decades (2020- 2030) on the water resources, water quality and sediment transport for the long term planning of investments.

    CMCC provides products and services on climate changes in the Mediterranean area
    HI-M provides products and services on short term weather forecast in the Adricosm Star area
    SEWA provides products and services from meteo-hydrological model outpus in the Adricosm Star area
    BU provides products and services on downscaled scenarios in the Adricosm Star area
  • Observing Centres
    HI-M provides products and services on short term weather forecast in the Adricosm Star area
    OGS provides products and services derived from atmospheric measurements in the Adriatic Sea

 

   

The coordinating Institution is the Centro Euro-Mediterraneo per i Cambiamenti Climatici and the scientific coordinator is Prof. Nadia Pinardi of INGV and University of Bologna .

The project has a duration of 3 years starting from March 2007.
